Verbotics Cell Editor

Introduction

Alongside Verbotics Weld, Verbotics Cell Editor can be used to create the robots, positioner, and workcells. Based on the Unified Robot Description Format (URDF) format, Cell Editor defines the position, kinematics, and constraints of your workcell. Cell Editor is available to our Verbotics partner integrators and is downloaded through the Accounts Portal. A key feature of Cell Editor is the preset library that allows users to quickly use together pre-made robots, tools, and positions to create a workcell.

• Getting Started with Verbotics Cell Editor walks through creating a workcell from reusable components, making some basic edits, and using it in Verbotics Weld.

• Creating a Torch Component shows how to build a welding torch component from a STEP file, create collision geometry for it, and attach it to a robot.

• Creating a Rotator Component shows building a single-axis workpiece rotator from data sheet and CAD model.
