Installation
Tutorial
This will walk you through downloading and installing Verbotics Weld, as well as importing an example work cell.
Download and Install
The first step is to download a free trial of Verbotics Weld. The trial version is fully featured except for the ability to generate robot code. Once you have downloaded the installer, follow the installation prompts to install the software on your computer.
In addition to the software, you will also need a work cell model. You can download a number of example work cells from our website. For this example we will use the “Yaskawa with positioner” cell. Download this example work cell .vbmodel
file to your computer.
Import Work Cell
Launch Verbotics Weld from your start menu. Before creating a new project, you need to import the downloaded work cell into the software. To do this:
Open the
Edit > Preferences
preferences dialog.Click on the “Work Cells” section on the left.
Click the “Add File” button in the work cells section and navigate to the downloaded work cell
.vbmodel
file.
Once this is done, the work cells list should show the “Example Yaskawa with positioner” cell as an option. You can now close the preferences dialog.
