Transform Welds

Transforms the weld path by either repositioning the weld or changing the angle of the weld. Works on a point-by-point basis.

Transform Weld Paths

You can transform each point in the weld in the following ways:

  • Move targets along wire direction: Move each point in the selected weld(s) in the nominal direction of each point by the distance specified.

  • Move targets along walls: Move each point in the selected weld(s) in the direction of a face that created the weld point by the distance specified.

    • A: Move each point along face A by the distance specified

    • B: Move each point along face B by the distance specified

  • Tilt: Tilt each point in the selected weld(s) in a selected manner.

    • Around the weld direction: Tilt around the weld path direction for each point by the angle specified.

    • Relative to Gravity: Tilt around the weld path direction for each point by the specified angle. in this mode the welds will always tilt down (based on the Z-direction of the cell) for a positive rotation value. This is useful to tilt a group of welds down or up relitive to gravity.

The effect of the weld transform parameters on the weld path.
